    I've modified my derivative filament spindle design to accommodate for slightly thicker 1/4" acrylic and made some modifications to reduce the likelihood of "binary failures" including this modification for reducing stress on the t-slots (thanks to tinkerings for pointing this out to me): http://blog.ponoko.com/2010/06/17/how-to-make-snug-joints-in-acrylic/
