Update 2/1/2018: it is now very easy to create your own name using BlockCAD, see "3D Names Using BlocksCAD" https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2778956 *** if you create a 3D name, please tag it "3D_names" so other people can download it and print it :) *** "how_to_create_a_3D_logo_in_Google_Sketchup_111007a.pdf" presents a step-by-step guide how to create a 3D logo or name. "create_logo_111007.skp" and "create_logo_111007.stl" are the result of the procedure in the tutorial. The other .skp and .stl files are for the larger logo shown in the photo which was split into 3 parts since it is about 190 mm long. This logo was used with the permission of the owner of Solidoodle 3D printers at http://www.solidoodle.com/
