I needed a tool to help making a 4x4x4 cube of RGB LEDs. So I built this thing. There are notches on the top of each LED holder for the R,G,and B leads, the anode points straight up. You can build this with an unmodified Printrbot simple Maker model 1405. Now, you have a former for the LEDs. You will find 3 small holes that go all the way through. 1. Push the 3 RGB leads into the holes as far as they will go the anode goes to the outside. 2. Fold the LED at a right angle. 3. Pull the LED up till the edge of the LED is even with the top of the former. 4. Push the LED up right again, Now the LED and it leads should look like the ones in the picture. Finally there is a 16-hole plate so once you have made 16 columns, you can arrange the columns for the final solder.
