Our dog has a bad habit of digging chewing gum out of bags and purses and eating it. We are careful about what sort of gum we keep in our house and where we put it, but accidents happen and he is a smart dog. I designed this case for my wife's gum. It's a snug fit for a standard case of extra gum and it's dog durable. FYI: XYLITOL IS POISONOUS TO DOGS. If you have a dog, please be very careful about what sorts of chewing gum and candy you keep in your house. Xylitol is a relatively common artificial sweetener that is found in many sugar free chewing gums. Relatively small amounts of xylitol can trigger fatal hypoglycemia in 30 to 60 minutes. If you think your dog has eaten xylitol immediately contact your vet. READ THE INGREDIENTS.
